Landline and Leased Line Installations
Landline Installation with Broadband:
Our team at Your Comms Group is dedicated to providing smooth and efficient landline installations for businesses. Here's a breakdown of the steps involved in the process:
- Initial Email: We will send you a welcome email, initiating the installation process.
- Number Porting and Provider Details: Confirm the number you wish to port, along with the porting details from the current provider. We also ask for a copy of your current provider's lastest bill. This allows us to verify ownership and facilitate the transfer of your business telephone numbers to the new platform.
- Letter of Authority (LoA): Complete the LoA via docusign, granting us permission to port your numbers. We'll then submit it for Proof of Validation (POV) to ensure accuracy.
- Config and Call Flow Form: Provide us with your preferences and requirements for system configuration and call flow, enabling us to tailor the setup to your needs.
- Infrastructure Check: Our engineer will discuss your current infrastructure to ensure that your installation site is stable and ready to support the new system.
- Line Installation: We will place an order for a new analogue line and broadband with Openreach. Please note that rescheduling or missing an Openreach engineer appointment less than 5 working days before the scheduled date may incur a charge of £250 per missed appointment.
- Broadband Activation: Once the new broadband is activated, billing will commence from the go-live date.
- Porting Date Confirmed: We will schedule the porting of your numbers after the broadband is live to avoid disruptions and ensure continuity of service.
- Install Date Scheduled: The installation will typically occur on the porting date.
- System Installation and Numbers Ported: On the scheduled date/s, our team will install the new system and transfer your numbers seamlessly.
- Project Closure: We'll conduct a check-in call to confirm your satisfaction with the system and officially close the project.
