How to set time mode to night service using the iPECS Cloud Portal

This article will demonstrate how you can set time mode to night service via the iPECS Cloud Portal.

First, log in to your cloud customer manager portal. From here, you can begin the process of setting time mode to night service by following these simple steps.

Go to Company > Time Schedule, and choose the appropriate time schedule, as well as making a note of the change mode, and day/night mode settings.

Navigate to ‘feature codes’ from the company menu. Change the drop-down menu to ‘feature name’. Enter ‘service time’ into the search field and click search.

You will now see the feature name ‘system service time load change’. Make a note of the related feature code listed, as you will need to assign it to a flexible key on the physical handset.

Go to User Menu > User Setup, and double click on the extension number that you wish to use alongside the feature, and scroll to the feature tab at the top of the screen.

Select modify/double click on the screen to make changes.

Change the dropdown timezone mode change to allow, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Change > Okay.

Next, go to ‘use a phone configuration’ from the left-hand-side menu, and enter the appropriate extension number in the search bar at the top of the screen and select Quick Search.

You will now be presented with a device and the flexible keys available to configure.

Use the checkbox to select and key, and click Modify, and change the button class to Digit.

Enter the feature code for service time mode change into the dial digit field, enter a description into the button label field and click Save > Okay.

To use the feature key, press the relevant key feature on the physical device and choose the correct time zone and schedule. Save using the hold key.

Navigate back to the company menu and select ‘time schedule, followed by the appropriate time schedule, and you will see that the day and night mode is now set to night.
